KSniffer requirements

To compile KSniffer you need:

• Qt 3.3.x
• KDE >= 3.3
• libpcap >= 3.7.3
• libxml2 >= 2.4.8

You can get the version 0.3.2 (released on the 21th February 2008) here. You can get the source code and the available binaries packets of some GNU/Linux distributions.

This version has been released with all available translations.

KSniffer 0.3.2 is available also (or will be as soon as available) from these repositories, for:

• Slackware 12.1 at http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-12.1/network/ksniffer/0.3.2/
• Slackware 12.0 at http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-12.0/network/ksniffer/0.3.2/
• Mandriva 2007.1 (spring) at http://www.latuberia.net/rpms/ksniffer-0.3.2-1.mdv2007.1.i586.rpm
• OpenSuSE in KDE Community repository at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Community/
• Gentoo ebuild: directly from Gentoo repository (thank you for your work, Bram)
• Debian: directly from the package repository (thank you Fathi): see here
• SourceMage GNU/Linux spell (to install it from command line simply type: cast ksniffer)
• Arch Linux (to install it from command line simply type : pacman -S ksniffer)

To check if the file you downloaded is unchanged verify its MD5 sum with the following:
